our world wonderer returned home from Australia via California this weekend...(for a short stay until Guam...after Easter...) it's the middle of summer in Melbourne; hot in the 100s there (40 C) as we turn into spring here. We all gathered for a welcome home party and it was like Christmas...everyone was there (except the three in California and two in New York City) so we had almost all the cousins...maybe we should say we had all the unmarried cousins?!?...we had all the Christmas food, and with the big box of souvenirs there were even boxes to open....
