my best friend has two grandbabies

she says it happens in an instant...

and i believe her...

it seems like just yesterday when i was using cloth diapers...

i haven't started imaging what it will be like to be a grandma, yet.

i'd love to be a grandma where she is grandma...the log home, the beautiful gardens surrounding the house, the hills all around, the vegetable garden, the canning, even the clothes line...

it's all so perfectly picturesque...

will we still be here...with our little plot of grass/dirt?

i cannot even imagine...

just like when the kids were little i couldn't imagine today

digital photography...blogs?!?

i wish we had digital photography and blogs 'back in the day...'

all my journal entries would already have corresponding photos along with them...just like I always envisioned doing with them...

mother's day weekend

and prom

i was reading some suggestions, wishes of mom's for mother's day...

and i realized how very blessed i am every day of my life to already have and enjoy some very heartfelt desires.

i have time to myself...at home

and i go out

to shop or whatever...

when ever i wish...

my dishes are done...

my house stays fairly tidy...

ALTHOUGH with both boys home from college yesterday...

it is a little messy in our foyer!?

BUT the boys are home!

i love it when all the kids are home

tomorrow we will go to mass together and grill out...

probably in the rain?!?!

and i will be gloriously happy!
