Sunday morning

totally inspired and in earnest imitation of a photograph by Gabrielle Kai in her 'inspiration' section

MASS: Eucharist was powerful moving this morning. I began crying at the offeratory, Whatsoever you do to the least of my brothers that you do unto me...
then the communion song was Rejoice and be glad...
and by the time Frank tapped me on the shoulder as Tim Lindsey walked by I had basically decided why try to hold myself together, I'm just going to throw myself down on the pew and have a good weep...
And then we processed to "And He will Raise You Up On the Last Day"...

That musical collection, liturgical selection, basically tells my whole faith journey...

We married to the beatitudes
Jeannette was buried to "Rejoice and be Glad"...another telling of the beatitudes...Carol Sue's husband's funeral recessional was "He will Raise you up"...

Mix that in with preparing for the retreat talk about Sacraments...Eucharist in particular. With the visit of my family later in the day...
from whom all things...me and my very being come...and I guess I was a prime candidate for the presence of Christ in my life, in my community...in His church.

Throughout this week I will try to elaborate more on this.
