and they're off

a weekend of homecomings and good-byes
dinner and mass and being together

i'm back home & my brother is visiting for a week


the university starts today...

our youngest starts his sophomore year, his ellyn begins her freshman year

our middle son takes his heather to the airport for a semester in Helsinki, Finland
and then he's off to Ohio to begin his junior year

our daughter came home to greet her big brother, who is back in the country &  for the family time...

the eldest son...is back;
safely home after a summer in Spain and Germany.......ahhhhh

we don't know how long he will be here

"because he left his heart in Hidelberg..."
or
maybe she'll come here........

but Saturday evening all four of our children slept under our roof
the first time in forever; Summer 2004?!?
