something I've never seen before

As I was leaving Wally's yesterday something that doesn't happen to me too often happened!
I saw something in his yard that I have never in my 51 years seen before...
They were dangling from a small tree like Christmas ornaments... the softest most beautiful, velvety, tear shaped pods... His wife told me they were Wisteria seed pods... sounds so ordinary for something that totally took my breath away!
