how does it happen?!?
a couple days of sun
not even warmth so much, although today it was in the 60's
and bursting thru the cold hard winter ground
where yesterday there was nothing but snow
comes the first bursts of spring!
brightly colored petals
on delicate little flowers
clean and bright
shining their joy into the sunny day
the most lovely of miracles...
after winter....spring
