hopped on a bus
and did a little foot tour of the old city of Heidelberg
on the old bridge entering the old city...the castle on the hill behind them
from one starving musician to the other....
as you cross over the bridge...and enter the city
there's this large strange monkey sculpture...
with this facing you?!?!?
and then as you stand in front of it
are these two small mice?!?!
We saw the oldest hotel in Germany...like knights from the crusades?!?stayed there!

we visited two churches and saw a wedding at each
then we had lunch right next to the Jesuit Church
at an Arabian Cafe
wonderful hot tea
perfect for our cold day
long food and talk...
then we walked down the old city walking street ''Hauptstraße''
passed gummie bears and gummie beers!

little gallerieslittle children
found two Starbucks
and something even better!
a chocolaterie
when we are not full of hot tea and falafel wraps
it was the sweetest, warmest, richest smell I have ever experienced
like the johnny deepe movie 'Chocolat'
