my prayer is to be holy
God's will is for us to be holy as He is holy
1 Peter 1:15
does being holy have a lot to do with being good?
so often I feel I'm not good.... enough
I let others down
I fail
...unknowingly
until I'm made aware
then I feel bad
not good
and far from holy
I try to remember that I must only please One person
my Father in heaven
I try to remember that He loves me
and delights in me
but somehow
sometimes
that doesn't make up for
failing before these I only desire to love
and long to receive love from
