the green has come
softening winter's barrenness
just a few twisted buds days ago
now a flourish to share
but their fragile beauty too replaced
by the scream
of hot pink azalea and rhododendron's bawl
faded just as the first yellows passed away
a glimpse
a glimmer
flower
fade
one thing only constant...
heaven's tears continue to pour
