just one week ago...
...last Sunday...
the day after the wedding
good-byes at the hotel
brunch long into the afternoon at gramps' and mimi's
my dad and his wife left early
to come here to our house
for the night
before getting on the road home
and when we got home at dinner time
with a roasted chicken and lettuce in hand for somekind of quick supper!
they were no where to be found
they left a note saying they had gone to find food
and WARMTH...
last weekend
so unseasonally cold
so wetwe actually turned the furnace on...
the earliest we've ever done that!?!?
and this weekend
so warm
and sunny
saw the newly weds Friday
and Vinnie yesterday...
this morning breakfast on the deck with my hubby
and a call from far away
and tonight hon's making tebs and I
a mmmm crispy lamb dinner
with fresh mint from the side yard
