a box of pistachio pudding
and mini marshmallows
"green fluffy stuff"
a recipe from another era
but it makes an appearance every year
on our Thanksgiving table
we haven't had cool whip in our house probably since last year's Thanksgiving?!?!?
a lovely Thanksgiving eve dinner
with eight of my hon's students away from home
this holiday
some who have been away for many years
five from China, one from Vietnam,
one from New Jersey...
and one local who will go home tomorrow!?!?
a lovely little preamble to tomorrow
when we will be with our family
thinking of our family
that is far away
