into the folded sheets this morning
fell tears
for two so longed for little babies
lost
Christmas isn't so far away
why couldn't they be saved
Oh Lord we've prayed
Oh Lord we've thanked
for this long time of carrying
for coming so close
had we become too comfortable
too assured that so far along
everything would be alright

not with these two little longed for little ones
why
are You distant
or are You right there
and if You are right there
why are they no longer here
such a good
and Godly
faithfilled, selfless, loving woman
mother
and such a strong, loving father
provider
a stable strong loving marriage
a safe established home and family
so wanted
so ready
so close
why
oh my God?
kind and merciful
good and faithful
all powerful almighty
how will our trust remain
in You
