from the rising of the sun...........

and as the rain blows in
bringing with it
the warm aroma of coffee
somewhere closely roasting

after a long crazy goat chat
and as we walk through a delightful old neighborhood
reviving itself as we talk

sipping hot tea
under our umbrellas at the ready
as we wait for the most delicious meal
I've had in a long time

while everyone else dining flees inside

she said it would be a perfect day
