beautiful labor day good-bye family ballet

SCAN0311
when I was a child
I spoke as a child
I understood as a child
I thought as a child
but when I became a man I put away childish things
For now we see thru a glass
darkly
but then
face to face
for now I know in part
but then I shall know
even as I am known
    1 Corinthians 13:11-12
Untitled
we tend to think so much of ourselves
we are who we are
these beings that live and breath and move upon the earth
Untitled
yesterday
by slowing down
and seeing thru the eyes of a child
Untitled
I caught a glimpse of how transient we really are
Untitled
in the place where the tree has grown
...that he used to jump over when he was a child

he boosts another little child
higher than high
up
where he will climb into that very tree's
tippy top branches
Untitled
then down
onto the ground of slippery slide
'slippy' slide

where wedding parties have been thrown
25th_A_013
and bubbles blown
SCAN0319
where many balls have been thrown
to always changing running hands
Untitled
Untitled
we are not constant static beings
we are ever changing
always moving
always living
spiritual beings
SCAN0315
the little one grown
who is leaving us now
was not even yet born in this photo
his mother is pregnant with him
and 'the big sister to be'
today
is pregnant with her third child
her mother there with her...
'little brother' on his way to where they are

growing within
being born
growing up
being children
leaving home
growing old
SCAN0308
where we start
where we begin
where we leave
and where...
we come home

Your photos so strongly suggest that ever-changing, ever-moving time.
