I prayed against everything in me
that he would die when they took him...
that he would stand before the merciful eyes of His maker
rather than the righteous judgement of this manic media world
we will all fall before the One who created us
who loves us into being
the One who asks us to love
not to judge
but to love
to love those never loved
to love those unworthy of love
to love those least deserving of love
he lived
I pray he comes to know God's love
as we have come to know and are convinced of God's love
