across the river
approaching
morning's sun reflected
blindly
casting hard harsh shadow
on those who dwell within
coffee in hand
oblivious to what
from without
is seen
within
one steady candle
lit
the morning star
sun stars fall
and lines of light
stream to where I am
at beach
or in pew
line of light
reaches
to where I am
