Dear Allison,

Vanessa gave us your E-Mail-adress and now I want to know if that works...

How are you and your family over there?

Thanks for your card and your lovely words. I love your letters from America. They are comforting and warm. Holger and I sat down in our living-room last week and tried to write a letter to you as well. But it didn´t work. It´s hard to write together when both of us want to tell you different things.

We are good. Very good as couple. During the last year we loved each other more than ever before. And we still do.

Now - again - it´s christmas time. Hard to believe that a whole year is over - and we are still here... and work... and eat... and breathe... the world goes on. And slowly it´s getting better. We still miss our children - and I my father - very much, but the aching is getting less and less... (can you understand that? My english sounds bad).

I still go to church every sunday and lead the worshipping time on. My relationship to Jesus is also getting better - step for step. I´m really happy about that. I can pray again and my friend Sabine and I usually meet two or three times a week to read the holy word together. We started to read Job and we are about the 15 th chapter now - and I love it!

But what about you? Domenick told us that you are going to visit Germany next year? I´m looking forward to that! It would be great!!!

Many greetings from Finkenbach to you, your husband and your children. From me and Holger (he is at work and I have to go in a few minutes).
God´s blessings to everyone of you!

Love,
Tina
