We have our women's group; bible study, on Friday...
I love my women...
we just love talking to each other!???!
what a gift, a true blessing in my life...just being women together...
Today was the last day of regular classes at the University.
Our youngest was working on a project into the night so he stayed here; slept at home...
a secret yeah, I just love having the kids home...
We woke to him moaning and groaning at the computer, something sent incorrectly, something lost in the saving!?!?
I went down and made the espresso (thought it might help a little!)
Somehow he and his dad worked it out...
I took him to his class...
Came home took my husband to his class...
Came home showered and made chocolate dipped strawberries for my girls!
Talked to the contractor about adding another job after they finish with the roof and painting...
THE GARAGE APARTMENT KITCHEN
Left for women's group...
and was a little early so I took a drive up the mountain to take some pictures.
The sky was so dramatic this morning, thunder and rain, then sun...
But when I got all the way up there...it was just overcast?!?
The trees hadn't started turning green at all yet!?
No ferns unfurling...
Not at all what I had expected.
oh well
We had a little group today...and of course good sharing...
finally finished the chapter 'confidence in God's will'.
Came home and took a little walk and found the neighbor's lilac bush blooming.
It's three houses up, but even sitting here now, upstairs with the window cracked...I can smell that heavy fragrance...oh...my
I'd just love to sleep under a lilac bush one night of my life...
Maybe someday the ones I've planted will provide a sleeping place!??!
I picked up my husband from work...and had to take a few more flowering tree pictures...I just can't seem to resist...the trees are just heavy with blooms this year.
(he is at the LOL retreat tonight)
I love having an evening to myself...
And to end a wonderful Friday we unexpectedly ran into Heather walking to her car!
Cheeks all pink and flushed from the warm day...
(she hasn't talked much to the Vinnie either...
just "goodnight, talk tomorrow")
So we don't feel too bad for not talking to the poor kid...
maybe I should send him a care package for final week!
tomorrow...
