she married on the feast day of St. Therese of the little flower
today he leaves on the feast day of St. Francis
{Vanessa left Ascension Thursday}
all very appropriate and special days in our families' life...

I sit here and blog and upload wedding photos
as Dom packs upstairs
I alone will drive him to the airport
frank teaches this morning, coco and andy honeymoon, tebs works
(bim will actually meet us there)
...I can do this, I must be strong

but it's oh so hard when there are so many uncertainties
who knows when we will see him again!?!?
it'll probably be years...

my only prayer is that they will be happy there...
all together
living and loving little bambino...
and creating a peaceful and loving home

I long to tuck myself into a pocket of Do's backpack
to get a glimpse of Santino...
to satisfy my aching heart and arms

oh the huge hole that little boy left...
somehow even bigger than the gaping one our own son
will be leaving today
