sometimes I wonder
if the Lord really is pleased with me and this little life that I live
and then sometimes I know
He not only delights in me!
He delights in my delight...
and really it doesn't take much to delight me...
I love that on a Thursday night
my hubby {of 28 years}calls and asks me to meet him at the new Thai place
we've been wanting to try...
I love that even after a late dinner
and teaching all day
he is willing to go and do the last errand of the day with me
even when we're not sure where to go and what'll still be open
I love that even though the old tile floors of my bathroom are slopping and cracking
they are warm in the morning...
from the hot water pipes that fill the radiators running beneath them
I love that first sip of cappuccino in the morning
and then I love seeing another little bit of blessed assurance
left just for me to find
without ever even really seeking
