and everyone seems to be coming home from or going on
vacation
beaches
airplanes
hotels
I'm spending alot of time
where the air conditioning is
in front of the tv
watching cooking shows
and hgtv
sleepless in seattle
lord of the rings
50/50
and even there
it's all commercials for
'beaches'
'air fares'
'hot wires'
but the images
that make me long for cooler wetter breezier places
somehow seem to be echoing exactly what we already have here
...right at home
'fresh produce'
'light fresh desserts'
'clean crisp duvets'
it makes it a little easier to just dwell in our own little dwelling
and truly appreciate the fact that
there's no place like home....

We have cool and rain and wind and I love it. This lady cannot do hot weather... a little bit is manageable but I prefer cooler weather. That duvet picture is beautiful.
