UntitledUntitled
I'm in the living room
composing a few shots of her rosary

because it reminds me of the colour of the hydrangea from last night

when from the kitchen
the smiling voices of these four women
is heard
Untitled
"Hail, Mary full of grace
 the Lord is with thee
 Blessed art thou amongst women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus
 Holy Mary, Mother of God
 pray for us sinners
now and at the hour of our death"
                 Amen
Untitled
...one Hail Mary

the length of time it takes to transport all of us back into our childhoods
to our own kitchens
and memories of
moms
and nanas
making hot crisp delicate
pitzels...
Untitled
I will never say those precious few words again
without this happy kitchen memory
as part of my prayer
