1 Kings 19

I stood
on the ledge
in the roll of thunder
in the wind
in the rain
on my feet
on my face
in the gathering dark
...without

I stood
in tumult
in darkness
...within

and standing
alone
shivering
whipping curtains pelting around me
I was small
and 'the whisper'
was with me
...within me
with me

never leaving nor forsaking
never going away
with me
always
forever
and
today
