all that i am

back to a place we've been 
many times before
a place of beginnings 
a place of endings drawing near
seeking a moment away 
from the 'crazy hazy lazy' 
closeness  
that clouds vision and thought 

would we find a time of refreshing
glimpse beauty 

or descend into deeper darkness

we discovered we were able to go
further 
closer
easier
to places we'd never been able to go before





asking questions

sharing the music of dreams

remembering the places we have been
and allowing coolness
to wash over
and refresh the places we still have yet to go
